Big things happened in 1931. Among them, New York City’s Empire State Building was completed — a marvel of imagination, dedication, and teamwork. The same can be said about Suffolk County’s first Lions Club, chartered on October 8, 1931.

A group of dedicated volunteers banded together, imagining a better Bay Shore / Brightwaters Community. In the 90 years since, Bay Shore Lions have been caring, effective community partners.

Our motto is “We Serve”.

Our fundraising helps support six local food pantries, provides eyesight screening and glasses for children, promotes higher education through local scholarships and strengthens our community’s resilience.

We invite you to share in our 90th Anniversary Celebration and see firsthand what the power of imagination, dedication and teamwork can do.

The Bay Shore Lions Club cordially invites you and a guest to join us as we mark the
