14th Annual Taste for Sight Charity

The event features an afternoon of sampling and tastings of delicacies prepared by over 30 South Shore Restaurants, Long Island Wineries & Micro Breweries. This is the premier wintertime community event in Bay Shore. The funds raised from this event are used to the many Bay Shore and Suffolk County community service projects; including two college scholarships for Bay Shore High School Seniors, food drives for local food pantries, Thanksgiving meals, Christmas gifts and support for local underprivileged families, “goodie” boxes shipped to Bay Shore and LI service men and women overseas, and the primary mission of Lions, aiding in sight for those that can’t afford medical care. The event is open to the public and tickets can be purchased online and from any Bay Shore Lions Club member.
